Recent events have highlighted some of the threats that Building Societies, Mutuals & Credit Unions face in the UK. Cyber attacks, reliance on 3rd parties and the impact of COVID 19 are some, whilst more local issues around systems and data security are some of the others which are impacting the sector today. The FCA is predicting a trend of increasing threats based on the growing number of reported incidents at a time when this sector is seeing a significant movement of applications, data and workloads to the cloud, sometimes for the first time.
You will have the opportunity to hear how financial services companies are addressing these trends and have the opportunity to participate in an informal open forum to discuss these current topics and strategies with peers from the UK Building Society Sector.
