Recent events have highlighted some of the threats that Building Societies, Mutuals & Credit Unions face in the UK. Cyber attacks, reliance on 3rd parties and the impact of COVID 19 are some, whilst more local issues around systems and data security are some of the others which are impacting the sector today. The FCA is predicting a trend of increasing threats based on the growing number of reported incidents at a time when this sector is seeing a significant movement of applications, data and workloads to the cloud, sometimes for the first time.

‘Pai’ is Vice President of Engineering Strategy and Customer Experience and a 7-year Nutanix veteran focused on their largest global customers to ensure the best customer experience. Pai previously launched and led Alliances and Business Development to scale up their OEM, technology and vertical partner ecosystems to transform Nutanix into a platform company. In addition to bringing a wealth of tribal knowledge within Nutanix as well as the broader market and global customer install base, he is an accomplished executive speaker able to seamlessly weave a vision around Nutanix’s products, technology, and strategy with customers. Pai’s primary role is focused on Customer Advocacy, driving strong executive relationships with their key customers and leading conversations and discussions in Customer and Executive Advisory Boards to address the needs of their top critical and high potential accounts while working closely with field and product teams to influence and drive product and engineering strategy. He brings over 35 years of experience across varied disciplines at Riverbed, Brocade and Hitachi Data Systems.
